DIY mobile miter saw station · Bob Pearson’s learning build
Inspired by the Tylynn M folding-wing concept; original proposed adaptation for Bob’s DCS361-class 7¼ in sliding saw.

Measure and mock up → choose hardware → practice joints → cut frame → square and brace → reinforce casters → mount saw → fit wings → align fence and stop → finish and commission.
Provisional saw-table offset: 3 9/16 in. Provisional deck elevation: 33 7/16 in. Final leg length depends on actual caster, pad and plywood thickness. Use L = H − S − T − B − C for this frame arrangement.
Nominal panel span is 80 in. External backers add 3 in; hardware gaps add more. The 24 in cabinet depth does not include the saw’s ~30 in moving envelope.
First-session goal: a completed measurement worksheet, compatible hardware choices and successful scrap joints. Do not cut legs or drill wing/fence hardware from estimates.
